As an experienced financial and operational professional, Matt has participated in ~$19+ billion in transactions in the Real Estate, Lodging, Hospitality, Gaming, and Cannabis sectors.
Before going client-side, Matt was a member of the investment banking group at Greenhill & Co., where he focused on Mergers and Acquisitions, Restructuring, Activist Defense, Corporate Carve-Outs, Divestitures, and Financings.
A southern California native, Matt received a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics and Management from the Cornell Univeristy College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (now known as the Dyson School), where he completed a joint Cornell/Clemson fellowship in sustainable business models for organic farming. He also holds a Master of Management in Hospitality (M.M.H.) from The School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) from the S.C. Johnson School of Management at Cornell University, where he was a Fellow in the Entrepreneur and Innovation Institute.
Matt maintains his Series 63 and Series 79 licenses.
