Ankur Rungta is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of C3 Industries. Under his leadership, the company has raised over $100 million in capital and employs more than 600 people across four states. He has overseen the development of six award-winning production facilities and nineteen retail stores in Michigan, Missouri, Massachusetts, and Oregon.
Before founding C3, Ankur worked as an investment banker at Moelis & Company and as a corporate attorney at Sullivan & Cromwell, advising clients on capital markets and M&A transactions. He is also a co-founder and board member of Nickel City Pictures, a film and television production company behind titles such as John Wick: Chapter 2 and The November Man.
Ankur earned his BBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and his JD from the University of Michigan Law School, graduating magna cum laude and Order of the Coif. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the Detroit Opera Board, where he leads the Nominating and Governance Committee.
He resides in Ann Arbor with his wife and three children. In his free time, Ankur enjoys traveling, basketball, and following college and professional sports.
