Gibran Washington serves as Chief Executive Officer of Ethos Cannabis, a role he has held since being appointed in August 2023. As CEO, Gibran is responsible for identifying operational deficiencies, executing action plans, amplifying brand identity and driving long-term efficiency and profitability. Prior to becoming CEO, Gibran previously held the title of VP of Retail, Supply Chain and Wholesale for the company where he implemented a variety of systems and processes to increase profitability and improve employee engagement.
Prior to joining Ethos, Gibran was VP of Operations at Purple Square Management where he oversaw 130 restaurants and 1700 employees across multiple states. Under his leadership, Gibran oversaw the expansion of Purple Square through the acquisition of 18 businesses and the opening of 30 new restaurants.
Gibran’s extensive track record of retail, hospitality, business development and franchise experience began during his time at Sodexo, where he held the position of Regional Operations Manager and oversaw the company’s partnership with Delta Airlines and Delta Sky Clubs. Gibran is a graduate of Hofstra University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree and was a standout athlete on the men’s basketball team.
